Sarah Brenzel Conrad

Madison- Sarah Brenzel Conrad died September 5, 2022 at age 66, surrounded by family.

Sarah grew up in Madison, one of nine children. She graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she double-majored in journalism and economics. Sarah worked as an administrative assistant for the City of Milwaukee for five years. She raised two children, Erin and Stephen, volunteering in the Eden Prairie public schools and as a Girl Scout troop leader.

Sarah supported her husband Tim throughout his prolonged battle with cancer and cared for him at home for months on hospice care. In her last years, she enjoyed traveling with her children, reading David Sedaris and John Irving, and spending hours on the phone each day with friends. Her family will fondly remember her humor, her pictures of family and friends, and her Christmas cookies.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
