Sandy Volkmann

Stoughton- Sandy A. Volkmann, age 67, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, on Friday, July 29, 2016 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Waupaca on May 14, 1949 the daughter of Hugh and Sadie Lane. Sandy was a kind and generous person who enjoyed caring for children in her home for over 13 years. She loved the Christmas holiday season and going to garage sales, always finding treasures to give. Sandy was an active and devoted member of St. Ann Parish. She was a Cubs and Packers fan. On December 4, 1982 Sandy married Mitchell Volkmann, together they enjoyed 33 years of marriage. She is survived by her husband, Mitch; son, Travis; two sisters, Gloria (Kim) Morris and Marie (Mike) Herrington; two brothers, Don (Phyllis) and Larry (Val) Lane; many nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; many relatives and friends. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial services will be a part of the 5:15 PM Mass on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at St. Ann Catholic Church.
