Sandi Einerson

Sun Prairie - Sandra J. "Sandi" Einerson, age 76, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. She was born on December 12, 1938 in Darlington, Wisconsin the daughter of Ervin and Sadie (Godfrey) Gilbertson. Sandi was united in marriage to Gary Einerson on December 27, 1960 in Darlington. She was a teacher at Royal Oaks in Sun Prairie for 25 years. Sandi loved spending time with her family and grandchildren; they were her world. She also enjoyed traveling and was very active with the food pantry at her church. Sandi will live on through her generous organ donation.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Einerson; children, Scott (Renee) Einerson, Jane (Randy) Bumgardner and Jennifer (John) List; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Ashley), Hannah, Trey, Annika, Eli, Noah, Greta, and Mason; a brother, C.Lee (Edith) Gilbertson; sister, Mary (Bob) Schroeder; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She will be greatly missed by her dog, Willow.

Sandi was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 203 Wisconsin Ave, Madison, on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Philip L. Blackwell officiating. A visitation will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
