Samara Seeley-Schreck

Samara Sage Seeley-Schreck of Madison, Wisconsin was born on March 6, 2018, weighing 1lb, 1oz. She passed away in the arms of her parents on March 29, 2018 at Meriter Hospital in Madison at 23 days old. Samara was deeply loved and long awaited by her family. She was born early and tiny but mighty - full of love and strength. Samara opened her eyes at the sound of her parents' voices and held their fingers tightly with her tiny hands. Her dedicated care team described her as strong and feisty. Her life was a gift to many but especially to her parents who had been calling her home since 2011.

Samara is survived by parents, Heather and Chrystal Seeley-Schreck; Grandmother, Pamela Schreck; Grandfather, Robert Seeley; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by Grandmother, Ruby Windspirit and Grandfather, Dennis Schreck.

The family would like to thank the incredible staff of Madison Women's Health and Meriter Hospital, especially the NICU staff. Your care and love enriched Samara's brief life.

A public visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Cress Center at 6021 University Ave in Madison. A private service will follow.
