Russell A. Yanggen

Russell A. Yanggen, age 72, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at HospiceCare in Fitchburg.   He was born May 27, 1936 the son of Joseph and Helen (Hausmann) Yanggen.   Russell is survived by his ""Life"" Gretchen Haugen, best friend and faithful four legged companion ""Ed"", brother Douglas (Ellen Fisher) Yanggen; nephews Steven (Keiko) and David (Sonia) Yanggen, and niece Julie (Alan) Yanggen.    He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Helen Yanggen. A Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Thursday, May 7, 2009 at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison, with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm.   The family would like to thank the staff of the Ellen and Peter Johnson HospiceCare Residence for their loving and compassionate care.
