Russell Kent

Columbus - Russell E. Kent, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 in Hospice Care at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. He was born on April 29, 1935 in Carrington, North Dakota the son of Earl and Marion (Sorenson) Kent. Russ was an active member of Olivet UCC Church in Columbus singing in the choir and as sexton of the church. He attended Carroll College and worked in sales most of his adult life.

Russ is survived by his three daughters, Gina (Rick) Voelker of Beaver Dam, Mina (Mark) Kenevan of Columbus and Lisa Bednaroski of Plover; seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and many other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.

A memorial of his life will be held at OLIVET UCC CHURCH, 313 West Prairie Street, Columbus, on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.

The family would like to thank, Dr. Sam Poser, Dr. Rolf Poser, all the wonderful nurses and staff at the Columbus Nursing and Rehab and the doctors and nurses at St. Mary's Madison along with Home Health United Hospice.

His family and friends know that he is now in God's loving arms.
