Russell Wayne Fye, Sr.

McMinnville, TN resident and Abrams, WI native Russell Wayne Fye, Sr., age 88, was born April 30, 1937 and died March 15, 2026 surrounded by his family, following an extended illness.

A U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam and retired assembly technician with Uniroyal Corporation, he was the son of the late Edward and Eva Baker Fye. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by all seventeen of his brothers and sisters.

Mr. Fye is survived by his spouse of over 61 years, Genevieveann Last Fye of McMinnville, TN; son Russell (Barbara) Fye, Jr.; granddaughters, Bethany (Seth) Fye-Mesaros and Marissa Fye and many other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at First Lutheran Church in Stoughton, WI on Monday, March 23, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lutheran South Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at the church. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
