Rudolph Girardi

Waunakee - Rudolph "Rudy" Girardi, age 74, died on Friday Aug 30, 2013 at his home. He was born in Norway, Michigan to Chester and Marie (Rozine) Girardi. Rudy grew up in Manitowoc and lived in Fond du Lac and Marinette. For the past 22 years he lived in Waunakee. Rudy was a grocer all his life and was the past owner, with his brother Tom, of the Piggly Wiggly in Waunakee. Upon retirement he volunteered for Meals on Wheels and the RSVP program in Dane County.
Survivors include his wife Mary and his children; Michael (Anna) Girardi, Marie-Claire (John) Morris, Theresa Girardi, Gary (Jan) Londr�, Marty Londr�, and Sara Londr�; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters Dorothy Inserra, Dolores (Larry) Anhalt, Gail (Bob) Shannon; one brother Tom (Carol) Girardi and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held on Friday Sept 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home, 5785 Hwy Q Waunakee, Rev Craig Mousin will preside. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. A gathering will follow at Rex's Innkeeper in Waunakee.
