Ross Kodner of the town of Berry, WI, age 52, passed away on July 29th while on business in Eau Claire. Kodner is survived by his wife Lisa; children, Jordan, Hayley and Sophia Martin; brothers Daniel (Seattle, WA) and Andrew (San Francisco, CA) and father Jay (Milwaukee). He was preceded in death by his mother Susan.
A 1979 graduate of Homestead High School in Mequon, Kodner went on to attend Drake University in Des Moines, IA and earned a law degree from Marquette University in 1986.
Kodner, a pioneer and innovator in the legal technology industry, was also a popular, featured speaker at legal technology industry conferences around the world. Kodner was Founder and CEO of MircoLaw, a Milwaukee-based law office automation practice- one of the first of its kind. Kodner was alsoa published author and an accomplished continuing legal education (CLE) educator. Kodner served as a guest lecturer at Marquette University, The University of Wisconsin-Madison, and Harvard University.
His passion for cars, technology and travel was infectious.
Funeral Services were held at Cress Funeral Home at 10:00a.m. on Friday August 2nd in Madison.
