Rosetta Brown

Madison: Rosetta Brown was born January 1, 1935 in Osceola, Mississippi. Her parents were Casper and Evelyn Dean, who also bore ten more children; the following have preceded Rosetta in death, Tim, Robert, George, Moses, Marie Dean, Mary, Anita, and Emma. In 1951, Rosetta married Freddie Brown, and they bore four boys; two boys have preceded her in death, Freddie Brown Jr. and Larry Brown.

Rosetta Brown departed on August 17, 2012, with a long time of illness. She departed from three sisters, Christina Cox of Madison, Annie Turner and Beatrice White both of Mississippi; two sons, Jessie J. Brown and William Brown both of Madison; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a hostess of nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at SECOND BAPTIST CHURCH, 4303 Britta Pkwy., Madison, WI, 53711, with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service.
