Rosemary Johnson

MADISON- Rosemary Johnson passed away peacefully on March 13, 2017. Rosemary was born in Superior on September 7, 1928 to Albert and Alice Johnson. She spent most of her life in Madison where she worked as a librarian for the Madison Metropolitan School District. She was an active volunteer for the Madison Public Library, Overture Center, WI Public Radio and TV, the Madison Opera, the BDDS and the Dane County Farmer's Market. An independent spirit and world traveler, Rosemary was an inspiration to many and will be missed by all who knew her.
A family service will be held in Superior at a later date. Memorials are preferred to the following Madison organizations: UW Foundation for the Benefit of the Cooperative Children's Book Center, the Madison Opera, WI Public Television, WI Public Radio Association.
