Rosalyn Theresa "Rose" Molz

Rose Molz, a Madison native and beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, family member, friend, and business leader, passed away peacefully at Meriter Hospital on August 15, 2026.

Rose was born in Madison, Wisconsin, and her life and career took her on a remarkable journey beyond her hometown. Her work brought her to Texas and later to New Jersey before she returned to Wisconsin in 2006, where she once again made Wisconsin her home.

Rose was the founder and President of EZ Office Products, a business she built with the same values that guided her life: integrity, compassion, hard work, and a genuine desire to help others. To Rose, business was never simply about business. She cared deeply about the people around her and was always looking for ways to make a difference.

Rose was an amazing and caring person who lived her faith every day. Her propensity to give to others before thinking of herself was evident in both her personal life and in the way she conducted her business. She gave generously of her time, her talents, and her heart, often quietly and without expecting anything in return. Those who knew Rose will remember not only what she accomplished, but even more so how she made people feel—valued, cared for, and loved.

Away from work, Rose found great joy in gardening. She loved the simple pleasure of tending to her garden and watching things grow. Most of all, she treasured time with her family. Her family was at the center of her life, and the memories she created with them will remain a lasting part of her legacy.

Rose leaves behind a legacy of faith, generosity, compassion, and love. Her life touched countless people, and the example she set of putting others first will continue through the many lives she influenced.

Rosalyn is survived by her husband Gary Molz: her loving parents John and Marilyn Gottschalk of Madison: her sister, AnnaMaria Casper: brother and sister-in-law, Keith (Candice) Gottschalk. Brother, brother James Gottschalk and special friend Jill Nellis; sister-in-law, Sarah Gottschalk; her dear nieces and nephews, Benjamin, Nathaniel, Nicole, Heather, Rachel, Jordan, Jadrianna, Abigail, Grayson, Gina; special great-nephew Alexavier, Kaden; great nieces Ella, Emilia, Mariana, Isabella, and Celine. Gone before her to pave the way, her dearly beloved brother, Gregory Gottschalk (2020) and nephew, Alexander McLellan (2003).

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday August 25, 2026, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5306 Main St., McFarland, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at Church. A meal will follow in the fellowship hall.
