Rose Marie Finfrock

Rose Marie Finfrock, age 67, of Stoughton, WI, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on June 20th, 2026. Born on June 5th, 1959, Rose lived life to the fullest and never took things too seriously. She will be remembered for her vibrant personality, her love of Betty Boop, classic rock music, and frequent trips to the races.

Rose embraced the complexities of life, boldly spoke her mind, and was often affectionately called the “Dragon Lady.” Her honesty, humor, and unfiltered outlook made her unforgettable to all who knew her.

She leaves behind her loving children: Kristian Finfrock of Evansville, WI, Kory (Tonia) Finfrock of Janesville, WI, and Morgan (Holly) Finfrock of Edgerton, WI. Rose was a loving grandmother to Kody (Brianna) Finfrock, Kaitlynn (Ethan) Schmidt, Makaila Finfrock, Aralia Finfrock, Kendra Finfrock, Kaden Finfrock, and Emerson Finfrock, as well as a proud great-grandmother to Callen, August, and Eleanor. She is survived by her sister Margo Dilocker, her brother Raymond Netrefa, and a host of extended family and friends.

Rose was preceded in death by her beloved husband Michael Finfrock (2012), and her parents Raymond Netrefa (1987) and Bertha Netrefa (2010).

Her family and friends will miss her wit, tell it like it is….or “as she thought it was” candidness, and rebellious spirit. Rose’s memory will live on in the stories she inspired and the love she gave.

A close friend said it perfectly: “It's kinda cool that her grandkids were lucky to have a grandma that was a real-life hippie. Her lore will be carried through generations.”

A celebration of life will be held on July 5th from 1pm to 3:30 pm at the VFW, 200 Veterans Rd, Stoughton, WI 53589
