Rose A. Wimmer, age 65 of McFarland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Agrace HospiceCare, Fitchburg, Wis.
Rose married Edward Wimmer on July 11, 1970. They were blessed with a son Michael in June 1971. She is survived by her husband Ed, her son Michael, daughter in law, Cindy and grandchildren Madelyn, Evelyn and Adam.
She is further survived by her brothers and sisters: Connie Fahey FSM, Dennis (Mary) Fahey, Diane (Tom) Hanson, Patricia Fahey, Maureen (Dan) Baker, Kevin (Ray) Fahey, Mary Ann (Nick) Zwaska, Paul (Deb) Fahey, Celine (Dave) Heinze and Jan (Rick) Luther; brother and sister in laws Joanne (Dale) Lindgren, Eileen (Ken) Alt, Diane (Rob) Wojan, Dale Wimmer, Wayne Wimmer, Gary Wimmer, Janet Lorenzen, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Faith Fahey, her sisters Colleen (Ron) Storch, Teresa (Jim) Statz.
Rose was employed at Dean Clinic for 40 years in various business office positions where many close friendships were formed.
A visitation will be held at Cress Funeral Home 3610 Speedway Road from 4-7pm Thursday, October 3.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. James Catholic Church, 1128 St. James Ct. at 10:30 am on Friday October 4, 2013 with Father David Koch and Monsignor Thomas F. Baxter presiding.
Rose's family would like to express their deepest gratitude and appreciation to the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff of St. Mary's Hospital for their compassionate and loving care. A special thanks to Agrace HospiceCare staff for their kindness and care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. James School or a charity of your choice.
