Rosalie Ager

March 11, 1920 — February 3, 2013

Madison-Rosalie E. Ager, 92, passed away on February 3rd at Sebring Assistive Living in Madison, WI. She was born on March 11, 1920 and grew up in Logansport, Indiana. After high school she moved to Detroit, MI and worked as a secretary at the Mahon Corp. where she met her husband. Rosalie married Ivan Ager in 1945 in Grosse Point, MI. They were happily married for 56 years. Rosalie was a loving homemaker who unselfishly placed her families' needs before her own. She exemplified grace and gentleness.
Rosalie is survived by her daughter, Diane (Gary) Sweeney of Madison, WI and Barbara (John) Gressa of Herndon, VA; her sister, Dorothy Ann Cortie of Madison, WI; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband, Ivan and son, David. Rosalie will be buried at the White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, MI. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
