Sun Prairie/ Milwaukee - Rosalia S. "Sally" Theilig, age 98 passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2013. She was born on December 16, 1914 in Port Washington, the daughter of Frank and Clara (Hamkens) Biever. For over 30 years, Sally worked for Milwaukee Electric Tool until her retirement. Sally was a woman of faith and loved being around the young people, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting afghans for her family and watching people at the Malls. In her later life, she was adventurous enough to take a ride on a motorcycle and drive a snowmobile. Sally is survived by her two sons; Tom (Annette) of Rhinelander and Jim (Karen) of Cross Plains, eight grandchildren; Brian (Jean) Paul, Debbie (Tom) Speech, Richard (Brenda)Theilig, Michelle (Pete) Metropulos, Jennifer Paul, Scott (Kristen) Theilig, Sara (Patrick) Magginis, Preston (Debbie) Theilig, 15 great grandchildren and son-in-law; Mert Paul of Sun Prairie. She is also survived by many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George in 1959, daughter Carol Paul and grandson Joshua Benzine.
Celebration of Sally's life will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 10:30 am. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00am until the time of services. Graveside services will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Sally to Agrace HospiceCare, Inc, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI 53711. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Prairie Gardens and Agrace Hospice for all their love, attention and care given to Sally and our family.
