In Loving Memory

Ronald D. Sutkay, age 78 passed away peacefully from multiple health problems on Monday, September 21, 2015. He was born on December 24, 1936 in Flint, Michigan. He was the son of Joe and Thelma (Krapohl) Sutkay.

He was united in marriage to his "doll" Beverly Ball on December 15, 1956 in Flint, Michigan. Ronald worked in the building material industry. He adored his family and was a very compassionate man. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. He also enjoyed fishing, gardening, baseball and football. Ronald served as former president at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Marshall and was previously active with St. John's Lutheran church in Waterloo. Ronald and his wife Beverly loved traveling to Florida during the winter months.

Ronald is survived by his wife Beverly; his children Kent ( Joan), Tim ( Lori), Mike ( Penny) Sutkay, Renee ( Mark) Wilberg and Elizabeth ( Russ) Danner; grandchildren Chad ( April), Eric ( Laine) Sutkay, Krista( Kevin ) Mejia, Justin ( Renee) Sutkay, Paige Sutkay and fianc�e Rusty Hernandez, Megan and Emma Sutkay, Reinaldo Wilberg, Nicholas, Alex and Ben Danner; 5 great grandchildren Lilly, Eli, Vienna, Violet and Olivia; brothers Bob, Joe and John ; and many other extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother in law and father in law Helen and Sam Ball.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wisconsin Dialysis Inc. or The American Heart Association.

A funeral service for Ronald will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at 2:00 pm at St. John's Lutheran Church, 413 E. Madison in Waterloo with Pastor Thomas Wilsmann officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Cress Funeral Home 1310 Emerald Terrace in Sun Prairie and from 1:00 pm until the time of service at church on Thursday.
