Ronald Streich

Ronald W. Streich, died on Monday 17, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Ron was born October 20, 1948 in Madison, the son of Walter and Alice (Reis) Streich. He married his devoted wife Sue Wild on November 11, 1967 and had one son, Jeff. As a young teenager, Ron was awarded a Boy Scouts of America Award for saving another's life. He worked in printing services from which he retired after forty plus years. He was an avid gardener and animal lover and loved spending time with his many dogs.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sue, his son Jeff (Tammy), step-grandson Dustin Roger Strait, his father Walter "Pete" Streich, sisters and brothers Sandra (Stephen) Mace, Diane (Kevin) Hughes, Cynthia (Duane) Hauge, Linda Johnson, Donna (James) DePaul, Timothy (Billie) Streich, and Josie (Edward) Kenney, sisters-in-law Jean(Gordon) Gunderson, Jan Attlesey (and friend Rick Mueller), and Jo (John) Blood, brother-in-law Ronald Wild, and many nieces and nephews.
Ron was preceded in death by his mother Alice (Reis) Streich; his brothers Gary and Wayne Streich; infant brother Thomas Streich, mother-in-law Helen Peirnot, father-in-law Oscar Wild, step-granddaughter Ashley Carol Strait, and best friend Jerry Bong.
A gathering to honor Ron's life will be held Monday March 24, 2014 from 4pm - 7pm at the Cress Center, 6021 University Ave., Madison, WI. 53705. The family would like to extend their gratitude to AgraceHospice Care for the wonderful care they provided to Ron in his last moments.
