Cottage Grove, WI-Ronald W. Kreuger (K.O.), age 82, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016. He was born in Pleasant Springs, Wisconsin to Harold and Selma (Midthun) Kreuger. He attended school in Stoughton. It was during his time in high school, while part of the boxing team, that Ronald acquired the nickname 'K.O.'. He worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator for Richard Iverson Construction. He was an avid sportsman, taking advantage of every opportunity to hunt and fish. He enjoyed deer hunting at his property up north, as well as around his family's home farm. Ronald enjoyed fishing on Lake Kegonsa year-round. He was often found riding around his family's farm on his 4-wheeler. He was a longtime member of the Deerfield Rod & Gun Club and the Utica Nora Rockdale Snowmobile Club. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Selma (Midthun) Kreuger, and two infant brothers, Howard and Robert. Ronald is survived by his brother Richard (Marlene) Kreuger; nephews Dale Kreuger and Michael (Kristine) Kreuger; nieces Julie (Jon) Skjolaas and Susan (Jeffrey) Bush; special friend Veryl Pernot; his dog Oliver; and many extended family and friends. Ronald's family would like extend their thanks to Agrace Hospice, the staff at Stoughton Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital, and Veryl for all of the extraordinary care he received. A celebration of Ronald's life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Nora's Two in Deerfield, lunch will be served.
