Roger L. Moyes, age 72, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2022, at his home. He was born October 5, 1949, in Richland Center,  son of Lawrence and Marcella (Karl) Moyes. He was united in marriage to Marcia Fillbach on November 24, 1973, in Madison. Together they were married 48 years and raised three children.

Roger graduated from Madison East High School. After high school he enlisted in the Air Force where he was stationed in Germany. Roger worked at G.E. for 40 years until his retirement. He enjoyed camping, and planting flowers in his garden.

Roger is survived by his wife Marcia; sons Travis and Clayton Moyes; siblings Mary Andruss, Judy (Dale) Braund, Rita Pond, Bob Moyes, Shirley Moyes, Charlene Moyes and Jim Moyes. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son Jimmy.

A memorial gathering will be held at Cress Funeral Home, 3325 East Washington Avenue, Madison on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from 10 a.m. until noon. Following the gathering he will be laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens where he will have full military honors.
