Roger Acker

Roger J. Acker, age 79, of Waunakee, died on Saturday, May 21, 2022, unexpectedly at his home. He was born on September 17, 1942, to John V. and Bernadette (Ripp) Acker. Roger farmed, all his life, on the family farm in Waunakee. One of his favorite pastimes was playing cards with his friends. He was a lifelong member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Ashton.

Survivors include his sister, Beverly (Jim) Meier; brother, Gordon (Jean) Acker; a dear friend, Nancy Moreland; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Vicki.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 7121 County Rd K in Ashton. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
