Rodney Jewell

Cottage Grove – Rodney A. Jewell, age 71, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at his home in Cottage Grove. On October 4, 1950, he was born in Middleton, Wisconsin, to Floyd and Ruth (Thomas) Jewell. Rodney graduated from Middleton High School. He worked as a Fabricator at Subzero in Madison. Rodney loved fishing, hunting, and spending his time riding his Harley.

Rodney is survived by his son, Joseph (Kimberly) Pettit; his grandchildren, Lily, Myles, Rena, and Brynne Pettit; a brother, Thom (Chris Ostergard Jewell) Jewell, niece, Tabbi Jewell, and her two children, Tyler and Sierra; and his dog Jax.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison, on Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
