Robert Tandvig

- Robert E. Tandvig, age 68, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at UW Hospital. He was born on January 3, 1945 to Oscar Bertram and Elizabeth Ella (Erb) Tandvig in Madison.

Robert loved having coffee and cookies with his friends, telling stories of old Madison, and spending time at his parent's cottage in northern Wisconsin. Robert was loving and kindness personified.

Robert is survived by his aunt, Eileen Erb of Madison; cousins, Bud and Janet Erb Loomis of DeForest, Jack A. and Kim Erb of Marshall, Eddie and Bonnie Erb of Danbury, John F. Erb and Kathy Zwettler of Mt.Horeb/Madison, and Diane Erb and Clarence Sutter of Mt. Horeb. He was preceded in death by his parents; and aunt, Katheryn Erb.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery.
