Robert ""Bob"" F. McClain

Robert ""Bob"" F. McClain, age 62, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital.   Bob was born February 23, 1948 to Lowell and Minnie (Capacio) McClain in Madison.   Bob graduated from Madison West in 1967.   He enlisted in the United States Air Force and served in England, Germany, Italy, and Libya.   Bob will be remembered as caring, loving, gentle, and generous, friendly and quick to make you smile.   He will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.     Bob is survived by his sisters Winnie (Willy) Huffman of Hutto TX, Sandy (Joe) McNamee of   Stoughton, Susie Montney of Waukesha, brothers John (Peggy) McClain of Janesville and Tom (Cathie) McClain of Columbus, and many other relatives and friends.   Bob was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Ellen McClain Parker.   A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 10, 2011 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610   Speedway Rd., Madison, WI., with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of service.     The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at VA Hospital for their care and support for Bob over the years.
