Robert Kolb

MADISON-Robert "Robbie" A. Kolb, age 53, passed away on February 1, 2015. He was a longtime resident of Madison and a graduate of James Madison Memorial High School. Most recently, Robbie worked for Advertisers Press as an estimator and mailing coordinator.
Robbie loved to travel to the Caribbean and all it had to offer. He had a passion for sailing and scuba diving. In addition, Robbie loved gardening and telling a good joke. He was a wonderful husband, son, brother, and uncle who loved life and his family.
Robbie is survived by his wife Cynthia (McKenna); mother Dorothy Kolb; siblings Judy Faren (Bob), Jim Kolb, Linda Hook (Tim), Jane Anderson (Paul), and Tim Kolb (Julie); mother-in-law Joan Carlin; and brothers-in-law Robert McKenna (Betty), James McKenna (Debbie), and Fred Behrend. Robbie will also be dearly missed by his beloved dog, Mollie. He is preceded in death by his father Quintin "Jake" Kolb, sister Mary Behrend, father-in-law Donald McKenna, and nephew Corey Behrend.
A Funeral Service for Robbie will be at 6:00 PM on Friday, February 6, 2015 at the Cress Center, 6021 University Ave., Madison. Visitation will be from 3:00-5:45 PM on Friday, February 6, 2015 at the Cress Center. Memorials are appreciated to the American Heart Association.
