Robert Herried

JEFFERSON- Robert A. Herried, age 76, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018. He was born on June 24, 1942 in Jefferson to Kenneth and Florence (Langholff) Herried.
Bob graduated from Jefferson High School in 1961. He then joined the US Air Force and took night classes at MATC where he earned his degree in 1991. He worked as an accountant for many years in several cities including Milwaukee, Waukesha, and Jefferson before eventually getting his degree.
Bob was a member of the Jefferson American Legion Post 164 and the Sun Prairie American Legion Post 333. He was also the department chaplain for the state of Wisconsin.
Bob is survived by his daughters Rachel (Michael) Carr of Moody, AL and Rebecca (Chris) Copeland of Memphis, TN and granddaughters McKenzie and Kennedy Copeland. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 5:30 -7:00 PM on Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Madison Baptist Church, 2323 Portage Rd, Madison, WI 53704 with a service to begin at 7:00 PM and Pastor Mike Weiss presiding. Interment will take place at a private service at Union Cemetery in Jefferson.
