DANE-Robert "Bob" Haag, age 85, of Dane, died peacefully at home with his wife, Betty, at his side on Monday, November 30, 2015, following a long illness. He was born on October 15, 1930, to Joseph and Louise (Esser) Haag. Bob married the former Betty Adler on November 26, 1983. He was employed at various area feed mills for over 40 years, Premier, FS, Big Gain, Tri County and United Co-op.
Bob is survived by his wife, Betty; sons, Robert (Rhonda) of Spring Green, Harold (Bonnie) of Reedsburg, Duane (Joyce) of Mazomanie, and William (Pam) of Lyndon Station; daughter, Marie (Roger) Kahl of Cross Plains; daughter-in-law, Karen (David) Dunn of Brooklyn; step-daughter-in-law, Geri (Don) Adler of Texas; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Linus Haag; sisters, Evangeline Kalscheuer, Donna Mae Werla, Venida Barman, Jean Ripp, Louise (LaVerne) Dresen, and Barbara (John) Dresen; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and Betty's parents Tony and Cordelia Adler; sons, Andrew and Roger; daughter-in-law, Elke Haag; brothers, Cyril and Joseph; brothers-in-law, Gilbert Kalscheuer, Herbert Werla, Donald Barman, and Eugene Ripp; sisters-in-law, Laura Haag and MaryLou Haag.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Peter Catholic Church, 7121 Co. Hwy. K, Middleton, on Thursday, December 3, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. Rev Tait Schroeder will officiate. Friends may call on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home, 5785 Hwy Q, Waunakee. Friends may also call at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
