Robert F. Tucker

Robert F Tucker, age 84 of Waunakee passed away on Tuesday December 26,2023 at Willowick moments care facility in Clinton WI He was surrounded by loved ones. Robert was born July 14, 1939 in Madison WI to Donald and Joyce Tucker.

Robert was a Navy veteran and proud to serve his country.

Robert worked at Webcrafters (Printing) in Madison for 25 years. In later years served as superintendent there. After leaving Webcrafters he worked in Milwaukee, Chicago, Ohio, and New Jersey and Florida. Always trying to better himself in Sales, consulting and Management within the printing business.

 After retiring he volunteered at the V.A. which he enjoyed giving back.

Robert was a busy man with many hobbies. He enjoyed Flying in which he had his private pilot license. He enjoyed to Travel , Golf, Running, Motorcycles, snowmobiling, Fishing, swimming, diving, snorkeling, but most of all boating and being by the water.

Robert loved entertaining guests for dinner, and cooking. He Loved telling stories and jokes. Anyone who knew him could remember his humor and laugh.

Robert was a giving man and always wanted to be busy. He needed to be moving and to accomplish something productive to end his day. He always wanted a job to do or help others till the very end.

Robert is Survived by his Daughter Suzanne Poole (Scott Horton)

His son Dean Tucker, his Sister Donna Bartelt, his grandchildren, Mitchell, Spencer, Elizabeth, John and Jacob, and his great grandaughter Aubrey.

Robert and Family would like to thank his caregivers at Home Again in Waunakee, to Willowick moments in Clinton. To his Dr.’s and staff at U.W. To Dr. Kelly Beck and staff at Prosthetic Dental and associates for his beautiful teeth.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday Jan 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St John’s Catholic Church 209 South St Waunakee. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations made out to the Alzheimer’s Association, and or the Dementia Society of America. He built memories with all who knew him and he cared for.

He is in his eternal resting place “having a good time” we are happy he is at peace. We will miss you. Until we meet again.
