Robert Elvehjem

Madison - Robert Stuart Elvehjem, age 77, passed away peacefully from multiple complications on Friday, April 24, 2015. He was born on March 13, 1938 in Madison to Conrad Arnold Elvehjem and Constance Waltz Elvehjem. Bob graduated from West High School and the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a BS in Bacteriology. He served in the U.S. Army. Bob's career included positions at WARF and the UW. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Cal Henninger. Bob is survived by his sister, Peggy Henninger; niece, Laurel (Craig) Diede; nephew, Charles (Christine) Henninger; great nephews, Justin and Noah; great niece, Shelby Henninger all of Minneapolis. Private family services will be held.
