Robert (Bob) Isaac Edge passed away on September 18, 2026 in Middleton, Wisconsin. He and his twin, Betty Lou, were born on January 8, 1928, in Deerfield, Wisconsin to Edna and George Edge.

At the age of three, their mother was killed in a car accident. They were raised by their paternal grandparents. Bob completed 8th grade and vocational school in Madison. He briefly served in the army during World War II in 1946, and again in the Korean War 1952 – 1954.

Bob and Maureen had a son they gave up for adoption. Bob and Maureen married and had a son, Robert Bruce Edge. They divorced in the late 1950's. Later in life, Bob had a sweetheart, Dorothy Gerstenkorn. They enjoyed spending time at casinos, watching car races, and traveling to Montana to visit Robert Bruce. Bob worked as a custodial supervisor at the Veteran's Hospital in Madison.

Bob was preceded in death by parents, sister Betty Lou, Robert Bruce (suicide age 57), grandparents, cousins, and Dorothy.

Friends will gather at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Highland Memory Gardens, 3054 County Road BB, Madison, WI 53718 to bring Bob to his final place of rest with full military honors.
