Robert "Bert" Louis Dickson III

Robert “Bert” Dickson, age 58, passed away on October 15, 2023.  Bert was born September 10, 1965 in Clarksdale Mississippi, the son of Robert L Dickson, Jr and Sandra Redd Dickson.

He grew up in Colorado.  Lived a short time in Illinois and then made his home in Wisconsin.

Bert worked at Sauk Prairie Ford-Mercury as a certified mechanic.  He then worked for Denny’s Magic Carpet, painting/staining, carpet cleaning, mold removal and much more.  Bert was a “Jack of All Trades”. 

There was very little that Bert couldn’t do or wasn’t willing to try to do.  When you were facing a job or challenge, you could talk to Bert about it and he would have a suggestion on how to handle it.   His advice was normally a quick and easy way.  When you complimented Bert on his vast knowledge of handling things, he would say “I am a Jack of All Trades and a Master of None”.

Bert is survived by his mother, two great nieces and one great nephew.

He is preceded in death by his father, sister LaDina Morgan and nephew Chris Dickson.

Bert was a kind and caring man with a big heart.  He will be greatly missed.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at The Antique Tap, 817 Water Street, Sauk City from 6 pm to 10 pm.
