Richard Breitenfeld

WAUNAKEE-Richard "Rick" Breitenfeld, age 44, died suddenly on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017, in Waunakee. He was born in Milwaukee on April 24, 1972, to Richard and Janice (Behrend) Breitenfeld. He graduated from Waunakee High School in 1990. Rick enjoyed going to concerts and the local music scene. He was also an avid Packer, Brewer and Badgers fan. His other pastimes included watching Nascar racing and professional wrestling.

Survivors include his parents, Dick and Janice; a sister, Linda; and an aunt, Laura Hall. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, a great-aunt, and his god-mother.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home, 5785 Hwy Q, Waunakee. Rev. Joel Brandt will preside. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of services. The family will determine a memorial at a later date.
