Richard Rehberg

Madison - Richard E. Rehberg, age 84, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Brookdale Memory Care in Madison. He was born on October 25, 1932 to Harold and Etta (Hodge) Rehberg in Janesville. Richard graduated from Janesville Craig High School in 1950. He continued his education at UW - Madison, graduating with degrees in Journalism and Advertising in 1954. Richard was united in marriage to Mary Ann Tenpas on June 18, 1955. He entered the U.S. Navy and retired as Commander after 24 years of service. After settling in Madison, Richard became the CEO of Sycom until his retirement in 1991. He actively volunteered after retirement. Richard is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; son, Mike Rehberg; daughter, Sandra (Mark) Sutter; grandchildren, Sam and Jeff Rehberg, and Ben, Chris and Lindsay Bryan. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald; and daughter-in-law, Cherie. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison with Military Honors. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. A luncheon will follow the services at Cress.
