Richard Farley

Richard P. Farley, age 62, of Sun Prairie, passed away peacefully on Friday October 31, 2014. Richard was born the son of Patrick Farley and Evelyn (Federspiel) Farley on May 20th, 1952 in Milwaukee, WI.

Richard was a graduate of Kingsford High School. He entered the US Air Force in 1971, serving in both Missouri and Germany. Richard spent the rest of his working years at the VA Hospital in Madison, WI retiring in 1996 with 25 years of service. Richard enjoyed writing poetry, listening to music, playing video games, watching the Packers, Badgers and NASCAR.

Richard is survived by his partner of 24 years ("Best Years of My Life"), JoAnn Imhoff of Sun Prairie; son, David (Kim Kuenzi) Farley of Madison; sister, Debra (Tim) Alquist of Iron Mountain, MI; brother, Patrick (Teresa) Farley of Green Bay; nephews and nieces, Patrick Jr, Christopher, Brian, Tracy, Patricia and Beth; JoAnn's children, Stephanie Imhoff of Madison, and Jeffrey Imhoff (Gretchen Cutler) of St. Louis Park, MN; granddaughter, Orli Imhoff; special friends, Larry and Tamera Wourms of Evansville; former spouse, Rose Ann Dalla Valle of Madison.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday November 5th at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, WI . A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 pm until the time of service. Please share your memories at www.CressFuneralService.com
