Rhoda Johnson-Valentine

STOUGHTON - Rhoda Lillian Sorensen Johnson Valentine, age 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015, at Skaalen, surrounded by her children. She was born in Oshkosh on July 26, 1926, to the Rev. Niels and Laura Sorensen. Rhoda was devoted to her family, her church, and the community. Rhoda is survived by her daughters, Barbara (John) James and Terry Johnson, and sons Dale (Beth) Johnson and David (Kathy) Johnson; grandchildren: Tracey (Brian) Miller, Bevan Johnson, Robbyn (David) Gaska, Mary Erin Johnson and Megan Johnson and 4 great-grandchildren, she is also survived by two step daughters Linda Kunz and Cheryl (John) Delavan. She was preceded in death by her parents, three half-brothers, and six half-sisters; her first husband and father of her children, Curtis Johnson; and her second husband, Robert Valentine.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 13, 2015, at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH 310 E Washington St, Stoughton, with service to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Eastside Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to First Lutheran Church Stoughton, 310 E Washington St, Stoughton, WI 53589.
