Raymond B. Hill

Raymond B. Hill, age 80, of Waunakee passed away on May 1, 2026.

He was born on November 2, 1945 in Waltham, MA. The son of Bernard and Agnes (Morris) Hill. He graduated from Iron Mountain High School in the U.P. of Michigan and attended Milwaukee School of Engineering. He married his lifelong love and partner Mina Marie (Lind) Hill on November 27, 1965 in Milwaukee. Ray and Mina lived in Clintonville, WI for 17 years before moving to Waunakee in 1984. Ray worked for USBank for most of his career. After early retirement he worked part time for the Wisconsin Department of Gaming and Lottery.

Attending his four grandson’s sporting events was always a high priority. He could usually be found at the football field, baseball diamond, or in the gym watching them. He loved fishing and hunting in the U.P. He was a big fan of the Warriors, Badgers, Packers, and Brewers and in that spirit, please feel free to wear your favorite team gear.

Survivors include his daughter Lyn (Kraig Bouchard), sons John (Lisa) and Matt, grandsons Carter, Jace, Jacob and Owen, and sisters Diane (Doug) Voshell and Candy (Dan) Fodor. He was preceded in death by Mina Hill, his loving wife of nearly 60 years.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to The University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center or Agrace Hospice & Palliative Care

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at First Presbyterian Church 5763 County Rd Q, Waunakee at 11:00a.m. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:30 until the time of services. Burial will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026 in Crystal Falls, MI. A reception will follow at Rex’s Innkeeper in Waunakee.
