Ralph L. Bohlman, age 87 passed away Monday, August 19, 2013 after a long illness. He was born in Milwaukee on January 20, 1926 to Gustav and Mathilda (Polinski) Bohlman.
Ralph has been a resident of McFarland since 1964. He was a veteran of the Second World War having served with the 6th Marine Division in the south pacific theater. He was employed by the State of Wisconsin as purchasing manager for 25 years until his retirement in 1989. Ralph was a member of the Doric Masonic Lodge #356 and Scottish Rite of Madison.
He is survived by his sons, James of Tucson, AZ and John (Carol) Bohlman of McFarland; grandson, Forrest Stevens of Baraboo; niece, Susan Lukomski of Madison and nephew, Richard Webb of California. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, August 30, 2013 at Cress Funeral Home, McFarland. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service. A luncheon will immediately follow the service. Entombment will follow the luncheon in Roselawn Memorial Park, Monona.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to McFarland Lutheran Church. The family of Ralph Lawrence Bohlman wishes to thank the caring and devoted staff of Belmont Nursing Home for their tireless and loving care of Ralph.
