Rachel Andrewjeski

Rachel C. Andrewjeski, age 93, of Waunakee, died peacefully at home on Wed. Sept. 28, 2016. She was born on May 30, 1923 in Roxbury, WI to Leonard and Lydia (Breunig) Endres. She worked at Nolans Caf�, Badger Ammunition Plant and Celon. She married John J. Andrewjeski on May 20, 1947 at St. Norbert's Catholic Church in Roxbury. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Waunakee.

Rachel is survived by her six children, Sister Jean of Sun Prairie, Dean (Barb) of Mosinee, Gary (Joan) of DeForest, Mary of Pleasant Springs, Mark (Deb) of Waunakee, and Rose (Joe) Lamberty of Prairie du Sac; eight grandchildren, Troy, Ryan (Ali), Renee (Chris) Alfson, Ivan (Sasha), Aimee Andrewjeski, Derek (Danielle), Bryan, and Alex (Kaleigh) Lamberty and great-granddaughters Abbey and Melanie, and great-grandson to be, Elijah. She is also survived by her sisters, Annella (Wilfred) Gilles, Mabel (Bob) Gilles, Della (Mike) Ryan; sister-in-law, Mary (Orville) Endres; brothers, Harry (Marlene), Walter, Delvin (Judy), Wayne (Marsha),Danny (Rita) Endres; and brother-in-law, Vince Koch.

Rachel was preceded in death by her husband, John; brother, Orville; sisters, Selma (Vincent) Koch, Celene Endres; and brothers-in-law, Mike Ryan and Wilfred Gilles.
Our mom's golden heart taught us all the value of family. A job well done by both you and Dad. We will miss you, Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma. Dad finally has you with him. We love you.

The family is so very grateful to the staff of Home Health United Hospice Care. Their care and support was wonderful. Thank you for being part of our family. We want to thank everyone for your thoughtfulness, kindness and prayers.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tues., Oct. 4, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Church, 209 South St., Waunakee. A Visitation will be held on Mon., Oct.3, 2016 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Winn-Cress Funeral Home, 5785 County Road Q, Waunakee. Friends may also call at the church on Tues. from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
