Madison / Waunakee - Phyllis N. Reynolds, age 82, passed away on March 7, 2017 at St. Mary's Care Center. She was born on December 23, 1934 to Hobart and Alice (Kendall) Williams in Hazel Green, Wisconsin. Phyllis was born and raised on the family farm in Hazel Green, with her seven siblings. She attended a one room schoolhouse, and after graduating from Hazel Green High School, came to Madison to attend what is now Madison College. Phyllis was united in marriage to Edward Reynolds on July 20, 1957 at First United Methodist Church in Madison. Phyllis will be remembered as being very devoted to her family, and having a strong faith. She was selfless, dedicated, supportive, and was the key ingredient in facilitating her family's success.
Phyllis is survived by her 3 children; Mark E. (Jeri J.) Reynolds and their children, Nathanael H. (Amber) Reynolds, Krystine E. (Taylor) Brengel, and Nicholas E. Reynolds: Ellen (William) Hauser and their children, Emilie Meghan, Eric William, and Joseph Edward Hauser: Thomas H. (Michelle) Reynolds and their children, Natalie (Michael) Evans, Benjamin (fiancé, Laura Bayer), Elijah Skinner (Jesse Vaughan), Madeline, Michael and Garrett; three great-grandchildren Hayden and Elsie Brengel, and Elise Reynolds; and a brother, George (Alice) Williams. Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, of 44 years, Edward.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2017 at CROSSROADS UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 5901 Hogan Rd. Waunakee with Pastor Kristen L. Lowe presiding. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
