Phyllis Bellile

Sun Prairie- Phyllis E. (Kankelfitz) Bellile, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2013, peacefully at her home. She was born on March 31, 1931 in Rhinelander, the daughter of Otto and Mabel (Scott) Kankelfitz. She married John Bellile on November 12, 1952 in Rhinelander.

Phyllis worked for Central State Colony, where she was a cook for 20 years. She enjoyed her elephant collection, pet poodles and reading. She was lifetime member of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her son Michael of Sun Prairie, grandchildren Vanessa and Michael of Minnesota; three great grandchildren; brothers Charles Kankelfitz of California and Terry Kankelfitz of Germany and brother in law Donald Noltner of Beaver Dam. She was preceded in death by her husband John; parents and Sister Eunice.

Memorial Services will be held at Cress Funeral Home 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 1:00pm with Pastor Luke Werre officiating. Burial will follow at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens. A visitation will be held from 12:00pm until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
