Phyllis Anderson

SUN PRAIRIE- Phyllis Anderson, age 88, formerly of Madison, WI passed away on Wednesday, April 8th, 2015 at the Willows Nursing Home in Sun Prairie. She was born April 4th, 1927 in Madison, WI to Herman and Beatta (Munson) Anderson. She graduated from Madison East High School in 1945. Before moving to Sun Prairie, Phyllis lived in Beloit, WI for more than 20 years.

She is survived by her three children, Ken (Debra) Gray of Mesa, AZ, Karen (Jon) Nadeau of Appleton, WI and Kathy (Don) Theis of Vonore, TN. Phyllis has ten grandchildren, Debbie (Tom) Wendt, Deanna (Paul) Minick, Steve (Amy) Gray, Justin Gray, Kevin (Michelle) Bush, Kristi (Ray Theel) Bush, Jerame (Shauna) Nadeau, Bryan (Julie) Theis and Cheryl (Mike) Bird; seventeen great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many special friends, including Becky Wornson and the staff and residents of the Willows, who became her second family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother.

Phyllis was an animal lover and talented artist and brought laughter and joy to all who met her. She will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 11th at 1 pm at the Town of Burke Community Center, 5365 Reiner Rd, Madison with an open house reception following the service until 5 pm.
