Philip Bowman

Sun Prairie - Philip Gardner Bowman, age 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 21, 2014, surrounded by his loving family at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. Phil was born on November 11, 1940, the son of Philip George and Margaret (Kepperly) Bowman. He married Janice Nielsen on April 8, 1961 in St. Paul, Minnesota. Phil spent many years in the building material sales field. He spent his final twelve years of employment as branch manager for Amerhart of Madison and Sun Prairie. It was during that time he was able to work alongside his two sons Phil and Steve before retiring in 2003.

Phil is survived by his wife, Janice Bowman, his sons, Steve Bowman and Phil Bowman; granddaughter, Erica (Sean) Bowman; sisters, Elizabeth Bowman and Barbara Maas; nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date at their home in Southern Florida where Phil enjoyed winter with family and friends.
