Peter Krebs

Sun Prairie - Peter J. Krebs, age 70, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017, at his home in Sun Prairie. He was born in Columbus, Wisconsin on November 24, 1947, the son of Lloyd and Helen 'Bette" (Motl) Krebs. Peter graduated from Sun Prairie High School in 1965. He served in the Army's 11th Armored Calvary driving a tank in Vietnam and Cambodia from 1969 - 1970. Peter graduated from UW Platteville in 1973 with a BS in Business & Economics. He was united in marriage to Judith Larson on August 11, 1973, in Dodgeville, WI. Peter had his own Insurance Agency with American Family in Waterloo, WI. He was a life member of the VFW Post 9362 in Sun Prairie. Peter enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons, working on his land in Hollandale and especially playing with his beautiful granddaughters.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Krebs, his sons, Brandon (Kristie) Krebs, Kendall (Christi Wojewoda) Krebs and Jeremy (Jenn) Krebs; granddaughters, Olivia and Emma; mother, Bette Krebs; brothers, Tom (Julie), Jim (Barb), Dave and Tony (Lynn) all Krebs; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Peter was preceded in death by his father.

Private family services will be held.
