Pauline Mary Bozarth, age 92, of Madison passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg. She was born on July 3, 1924 in Thayer, Illinois, the daughter of George and Anna (Rubis) Molitoris. She married Clarence Victor Bozarth on June 27, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois.
Pauline graduated from Virden High School in 1942, and went to work at Sangamo Electric in Springfield inspecting tiny parts for WWII aircraft. From1946 through 1953, she was a bookkeeper then secretary to a vice president of Dovenmuehle Mortgage in Chicago until she married and moved to Wabash, Indiana and later to Michigan. From 1975 until 1985 Pauline was a caseworker with the Michigan Department of Social Services. She and her husband lived in Paw Paw for 29 years, then moved to Wisconsin. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Dodgeville. Since mid-2014, Pauline resided at Oakwood Village, University Woods in Madison where she attended services at Resurrection Chapel. Pauline always maintained an interest in current affairs and excelled in cooking and baking pies and cinnamon rolls. She enjoyed family camping trips including a journey through Alaska.
Pauline is survived by her daughter, Vickie (Allan) Long; son, David Bozarth; brother, Eugene Molitoris; sister, Barbara Molitoris; sister-in-law Jacqueline (Mrs. Michael) Molitoris; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings, George (May) Molitoris , Mary Molitoris, John Molitoris , Anna Molitoris, Thomas Molitoris, Emma (Salvatore) Genovese, Edward (Joyce) Molitoris, Elisabeth (Clarence) Rippel, Margaret (Arthur) Hamann, Michael Molitoris; and sister-in-law Beverly (Mrs. Eugene) Molitoris
A private family burial was held at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, Wisconsin.
In lieu of flowers, a donation on behalf of Pauline can be made to the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped or your local public library or charity of choice.
