Paul N. Nelson

Stoughton- Paul N. Nelson, age 86, passed away of pneumonia on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Stoughton Hospital. He was born in Stoughton on March 15, 1937, the son of Alfred and Luella Nelson. Paul graduated from Stoughton High School in 1955. He spent his life farming the family farm well into his eighties. Paul sold the farm to David and John Alme earlier this year. The Alme family was always there for Paul and so were many others.

Paul was a life member of Christ Lutheran Church in Stoughton. He was currently staying at Nazareth House in Stoughton. He appreciated everything and everyone that assisted in his care. Paul was a quiet man with many friends and everyone who knew him liked him. He will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Cress Funeral Home, 206 W. Prospect Street, Stoughton. A private burial will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, or the charity of the donor's choice.
