Patt Steiner

Patricia "Patt" Steiner, age 61 of Sun Prairie, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. Patt was born on March 9, 1955 in Madison, daughter to Jerry and Marge (O'Connell) Reindl.
She was united in marriage on September 15, 1979 to Victor Steiner in Mazomanie. Together they raised two daughters.
Patt graduated from Wisconsin Heights High School and she worked at Heartland Credit Union. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with her grandsons and family, volunteering and giving to others and shopping.
She was also a former president of the VFW Women's Auxiliary.
Patt is survived by her husband Vic; daughters Tiffany ( Gianderson) Retcheski and Tauna ( James) Simm of Sun Prairie; grandchildren Ayden and Caleb Retcheski and Victor " JJ" Simm; mother Marge Reindl of Black Earth; siblings Steve ( Jackie) Reindl, Barb( Paul) Fosshage, John ( Laura) Reindl, Bob ( Pam) Reindl, Jackie ( Shawn) Page, Duane ( Shelly) Reindl; she also leaves behind many family and friends. Patt was preceded in death by her father Jerry; grandparents David and Frances O' Connell and Olive and Frank Reindl; uncle Ray O'Connell; father in law Victor L. Steiner; and many special aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie on Sunday, May 1, 2016 at noon. Memorial visitation will be held from 9: 00 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Following the memorial service the family will have a "Celebration of Life" gathering at the VFW Post 9362, 349 South Walker Way in Sun Prairie.
