Patrick Louis Grainger, age 52, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at home. He was born on November 21, 1960 in Madison, the son of Ronald and Nancy (Lampman) Grainger. He married Christina Wilson on August 19, 2004 in Madison.
Pat graduated from Sun Prairie High School in 1979 and went on to receive an Associate Technical Degree at MATC in Engineering. He was employed by the City of Madison as a Civil Tech Engineer for over twenty years. He enjoyed conversation involving politics, playing pool, golf and spending special times with friends and family. He was an avid Wisconsin sports fan. Pat was a huge animal lover. That truly showed in his love for his dogs, Lexi and Tank, and his cats, Chatter and Ziggy.
He is survived by his wife Christina, sons Isaac, Jonathon (fianc�e Kate), of Appeton, Scott of Madison, brother Michael of Morrisonville, sister Susan (Allan) Spahn of DeForest, special nephew and niece Deagan and Shea Spahn, special aunt Jean Wiesner, cousins Timothy (Penny) Wiesner, and Camille (Hoooch) Richards.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and uncle Bill Wiesner.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 28 at 6:00 pm at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 3:00 pm until time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family.
