Middleton-Patricia Omilianowski, age 71 a life-long resident of Madison, Wis, passed away at her home on Monday Nov 3rd 2014.
Patricia is survived by her only son, Andrew (Elizabeth); her sisters, Judy and Dorothy; brother, Jim; many nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends. Her husband Daniel precedes Patricia in death.
Patricia was born in Hammond,Ind on February 24, 1943 to Joseph and Monica Murzyn. Patricia worked at the University of Wisconsin Madison biochemistry lab for 30 years. On January 8, 1966, she married Daniel Omilianowski. In December 1967 she welcomed her cherished son Andrew, who with Daniel was the most important part of her life.
Patricia was a devoted mother and avid domino player. She enjoyed the company of her husband Daniel to which they traveled to many countries around the world. She was very active with the Madison scouts drum and bugle corps and spent many years selling souvies with her Red Hat friends. She was also a problem-solver, had a quick wit, and a great smile. She was a spiritual woman and was involved in many church activities. The most important thing in her life was her family, Patty was a loving mother to all ends. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who knew Patty.

A funeral service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison, on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Monsignor Kenneth J. Fiedler presiding. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Patricia's name to Our lady Queen of Peace church, 401 S. Owen Dr, Madison, Wis.
