Patricia Ellen (Sather) Johnson, age 84 passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Agrace HospiceCare. Pat was born in Madison on May 30, 1931 to the late K. Louis and Madolin Ellen (O'Dwyer) Sather.

Pat was a graduate of West High School, Class of 1949. She worked for UW Madison, Extension and System Administration. She was a member of Middleton Community UCC, Middleton Senior Center, Madison Jazz Society, and Thirsty Thursday Card Club. Pat thoroughly enjoyed Big Band, Swing and Dixieland music, bowling, golfing, and Badger Women's Basketball games.

Pat is survived by her sister, Karen (Sather) Blaschka; step-children, Christine (Robert) Dicke, Robert (Barbara) Johnson, and Meg (Kim) Ipsen; nieces and nephews, Jo Ellen Bassler, Jane (Bassler) Jarrett, Jon Bassler, Jim Bassler, Jennifer (Bassler) (Clay) Hitt, Sandy Hoverson, and Jeff Hoverson; 8 step-grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her dear friends in her faith community, card club, and golf and birthday groups.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert I. Johnson and sister, Jane (Sather) Rossdeutscher.

A Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Middleton Community UCC, 645 Schewe Road, Middleton with Rev. James Iliff presiding. Family will greet friends after 10 a.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Middleton Community UCC, or Agrace HospiceCare, Inc.
