Patricia A. Delany

Madison – Patricia A. Delany, age 80, passed away on March 20, 2024.  She was born in Madison, the daughter of Phil and Ann Corona.  She married John Delany on June 26, 1966 in Madison.  Together they had two sons, Brian and Patrick.

Patricia received her bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin Platteville.  She would go on to discover the Wisconsin Turkey Virus.  She enjoyed working with her graduate students at U.W. Veterinary School.  Patricia also worked with the Rangers in Rocky Mountain National Park protecting the elk herd.  She also taught dancing at the Stoughton School of Dance.

She is survived by her husband, John Delany, and sons Brian and Patrick.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday March 26, 2024, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 401 S. Owen Dr., Madison.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at church.

Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice or St. Jude.
